2012/13 CMSDL Argument Limits
The 2012/13 CMSDL Argument Limits, based on the input of the CMSDL Coaches’ Council, determines which arguments from the CMSDL Core Files can be used at each tournament in Varsity/JV and Novice.
2012/13 CMSDL Core Files Strategy Guide
The 2012/13 CMSDL Core Files Strategy Guide provides a suggested “script” for negative teams debating against an original Core Files affirmative case. No debate team need ever say they don’t know what to argue on the negative against a Core Files case. The Strategy Guide also provides the page numbers for the 2AC answers for Core Files negative issues.

Tournament Five Previewing
What are Previews? They are new, researched cases in addition to the Core Files. They are optional for a team to research but may add a strategic advantage to the team that researches them. Teams are required to share full plan texts and full descriptions of Harms (including terminal impacts and scenarios) and Solvency mechanisms for their researched affirmative cases and we will release these to all other schools to facilitate researching responses. Any team may use a case previewed by another school so long as they use the same arguments.
Where do I start researching? Try the The National Debate Coaches Association Open Evidence Project, with thousands of pages of debate evidence from 16 of the top university summer debate institutes from around the country. There’s also a searchable wiki with citations and sometimes full text of arguments used by National Circuit teams from around the country so far this season.
